Delonte West tweets about working at furniture store
The NBA lockout has given some players the opportunity to play for teams overseas. For the Celtics’ Delonte West, it’s given him the chance to work at a furniture store.
On Wednesday, West tweeted that he had applied for a position at Regency Furniture, saying that he needed a second job to stay afloat during the lockout. After being hired, West continued to tweet, saying he was having fun and posting pics of himself at work with the rest of the Regency crew.
West even tweeted before leaving for the day, saying, “Regency is a cool place to be. Now I’m chillin. It’s almost 5.”
As of the time of this article, the influx of viewers to West’s profile to see his on-the-job pictures has caused the image hosting site Lockerz to crash.
