Speaking of inspiration, I was curious to learn just where Icing draws theirs from, so I sat down with Jen Hickman, lifestyle buyer for Icing. According to Hickman, the inspiration for the home décor collection comes from current fashion trends. “We really try to encompass all facets of style and trend in our designs. From our nature-girl boho side incorporating rustic materials, antlers & dream catchers, to a fresh nautical vibe using clean lines, navy & white with a touch of gold to give the room a refined resort feel. We pull the best from the most current home trends to give our shoppers what they are looking for,” Hickman explains. This holds true for all of Icing’s lifestyle collections.
The nautical design is also part of the newest addition to the home collection, in stores and online this spring, in the nautical bedding line. Available in twin XL and full sizes, the sheet and duvet sets feature spring colors in a fun anchor pattern. “The designs turned out beautifully and the fabric is so luxurious! The cool aqua and white colors instantly brighten up any space!” Hickman raves. The nautical bedding line is sure to refresh any room.
