Read what Britney has to say about “Femme Fatale”
Britney Spears is back, y’all. With two successful singles already making waves, the princess of pop is gearing up for the release of her seventh studio album, titled “Femme Fatale.”
The first single from her upcoming album, “Hold It Against Me,” hit the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100, Dance/Club Play and Digital charts soon after its release. “Till The World Ends” was released days ago and is steadily climbing the charts, hoping to catch up with its predecessor.
Despite the impending March 29 release date, Britney Spears has been noticeably absent from the promotion circuit. A performance on Good Morning America on the day of the album’s release has been set, and a recent interview with “Out” magazine is all fans are left with when it comes to seeing the star in action.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Britney Spears called “Femme Fatale” her best album to date. “I think Femme Fatale is my most upbeat and mature album yet,” she added.
Britney also talks about her own musical taste in the interview. She named Natalie Imbruglia’s “Left of Middle” as life-changing and admitted she was jealous of Rihanna for recording “Love The Way You Lie” with Eminem because she loved the song.
And are there any songs on the album she wished hadn’t made the cut? “No,” she said. “All my songs are f—ing amazing.”
