Cat Deeley ties the knot with comedian Patrick Kielty in a secret ceremony
Cat Deeley exchanged vows with Irish comedian Patrick Kielty in Rome over the weekend at the Saint Isidore’s College chapel, according to multiple British reports. The So You Think You Can Dance host was seen a week ago walking the red carpet at the Emmy Awards. However, she failed to mention any upcoming wedding plans.
The head of Saint Isidore’s College would not confirm that Cat Deeley was wed there. However, he did say that a well-known international person did get married at the chapel on Saturday.
According to a source, “It was a rather small affair. There was an Italian wedding planner who had organized lots of flowers, including white and cream-colored roses. A professional photographer was also on hand and took pictures before, during and after the ceremony.”
Another source close to Deeley said “The whole thing was sprung on the guests at the last minute, but you can tell a lot of time had gone into the planning.” The wedding included only 60 friends and family members. US Weekly reported “Cat looked stunning in a beautiful dress with ruffles all the way down, and her hair was pinned back.”
Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty met while filming a BBC reality show in 2002 called Fame Academy.
