Pop diva Mariah Carey who holds the record for most No. 1 debuts in Billboard Hot 100 will officially reunite with record producer Antonio L.A. Reid. It is confirmed today by Sony’s spokesperson to Billboard that Mariah has signed with Epic Records, which is an off-shoot label of Sony’s.
Just in time to prepare for her first residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in fabulous Las Vegas beginning May 6. The singer’s forthcoming album will be a compilation of her greatest hits, which is expected to feature updates, as well as possible duets of her classic songs.
Sources are saying that miss Mariah is already hitting the studio in LA and recording new music. Currently there is no word on potential release dates.
