On Monday, Forbes released a list that showing that the country music business is as profitable as ever with Taylor Swift and Toby Keith who rank among some of the highest-paid in the industry.
Forbes, a financial magazine, released rankings of the highest-paid acts in country music. Toby Keith, for the second year in a row, ranked among the highest-paid with a staggering $65 million in earnings. The 53 year old singer-songwriter sealed a major endorsement deal with Ford in the last year and has earned profit from his restaurant chain.
It’s no surprise that Taylor Swift ranked high on that list, in fact, she coveted the No.2 spot having made an estimated $64 million over the last year from her world tour and major endorsements.
Kenny Chesney ranked third among the list earning $44 million thanks to his No Shoes Nation tour.
Superstars Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan ranked fourth and fifth with Aldean earning $37 million and Bryan $34 million.
