Cox and Arquette have been separated for awhile, but finalize their divorce now.
David Arquette has filed for a divorce with his wife of 13 years and listed the divorce as the typical “irreconcilable differences.”
Arquette has filed the divorce after a year-and-half-long split with Cox. Arquette isn’t looking for any spousal or child support but is seeking for joint and physical custody of the couple’s 8-year-old daughter, Coco.
The couple signed the divorce papers back in March, but it wasn’t until now Arquette filed them. Arquette and Cox have remained cordial to each other throughout their separation.
Cox stated in an interview with Howard Stern, “Our relationship is probably better than it would be if we lived together…It’s definitely better than it used to be. We communicated better, we have so much more respect for each other, we listen. It’s hard.”
In a statement Cox and Arquette wrote after their separation, “We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply.”
Arquette has started a new relationship after the split with Cox. Arquette has an on-and-off relationship Entertainment Tonight reporter Christina McLarty, according to US Magazine.
As for Cox, “No guys asked me out. I’m not saying I’m not ready to have a make-out session, but it just makes me nervous…I don’t like to go out in general,” Cox revealed to Stern.
Arquette is has appeared on many films such as, Never Been Kissed and 3000 Miles to Graceland. Cox was made famous as being part of the 90s hit T.V. show Friends and is currently starring in Cougar Town, that Arquette produces.
