Dr. Seuss Birthday Party, Thursday March 1. Enjoy all of your Dr. Seuss favorites during storytime, followed by snacks and crafts from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Dr Seuss Birthday Celebration, Friday March 2 from 5:30-7:00 P.M. Join the children from Hermosa Organization and Northeastern Illinois University for book reading and craft making.
The Open Books Store, 213 West Institute Place, Chicago, Il
Dr Seuss Day, Saturday, March 3, will include many scheduled activities, including Seuss-themed dramatic play, an interactive story time and craft projects. In between all the scheduled activities, Open Books will offer Seuss fans of all ages creative face painting, sweet treats, and imaginative coloring. In addition, the Open Books store will offer a 20% discount on all children’s books.
Barnes and Noble at Spring Hill Mall, 1468 Springhill Mall Blvd, West Dundee, IL
Tuesday March 06, at 10:30 a.m., Barnes and Noble will have storytelling featuring “The Cat in the Hat” and other Dr. Seuss favorites. An activity will follow.
Also, “The Lorax” opens on Friday March 2, and will be playing throughout the city.
