Barrymore’s third marriage commences
Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman had a Jewish wedding ceremony Saturday evening in their California estate. Will Kopelman is Barrymore’s art dealer. This is Barrymore’s third wedding, having formerly been married to bar owner Jeremy Thomas in 1994, and comedian Tom Green in July 2001. Both her previous marriages lasted less than six months.
The Jewish wedding was performed by Kopelman’s rabbi complete with a custom-designed chuppah. Floral arrangements included hydrangeas, irises, pink roses and lavender lilies designed by Gazebo Flowers.
Barrymore has not confirmed pregnancy, but it is allegedly showing a bump and wore a Chanel gown. This would be Barrymore’s and Will Kopelman’s first child. Will Kopelman’s father, Arie Kopelman, is the former CEO of Chanel.
The wedding guests included Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon and Jimmy Fallon. Diaz, Barrymore’s best friend helped the bride at her dress fitting.
“Drew has been leaning on Cameron a lot,” an insider told Us. “Cameron has been very involved.”
In regard to Will Kopelman’s family, Barrymore raved to Ellen Degeneres, “I am as in love with his family as I am with him, which is an extraordinary sort of gift. You never take that for granted…It really is an absolute blessing. I feel very lucky. They’re incredible people.”
The two dated in 2009 and got back together again in 2011.
Barrymore’s first claim to fame was in Steven Spielberg’s E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial when she was a child. She later founded her own production company, Flower Films, and directed the comedy movie Whip-It in 2009.
