An introduction to Facebook’s new update.
Facebook is upgrading to a new profile called Timeline.
The profile was introduced at the company’s f8 developer conference on September 22. The first country to recieve the new profile was New Zealand and has been spreading worldwide.
Timeline shows a history of the user’s entire life with major milestones and small moments chosen by Facebook. Facebook focuses on older stories
1.1 million people were already using Timeline as of Friday, September 30, according to the Timeline product manager Sam Lessin.
Though this major update might upset loyal Facebook users, its easy to customize and control your Timeline. Privacy settings have not changed, just the information is displayed differently.
