IHOP serving up short stacks to benefit children’s charities
IHOP is celebrating National Pancake Day by offering free buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. today.
IHOP, the International House of Pancakes, is ready to serve up the short stacks. Today, anyone can get a free buttermilk short stack at IHOP in honor of National Pancake Day in exchange for a donation to local children’s hospitals.
This is the seventh year in a row that IHOP has offered free pancakes for donations on National Pancake Day.
IHOP served four million free pancakes on National Pancake Day 2011, and donated more than $2.5 million to children’s charities.
Flapjack enthusiasts are flocking to their favorite pancake houses to celebrate, but those going to IHOP can feel a little bit better about devouring a stack of hotcakes slathered in butter and drowning in maple syrup. IHOP patrons are helping a good cause while enjoying free food.
What could be better than that? Other than the pancakes of course.
