Older Brady sister, Julie, engaged to Red Sox infielder
Kevin Youkilis, also known as Youk, infielder for the Boston Red Sox, is supposedly engaged to marry Julie Brady, a schoolteacher and the sister of New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady.
According to Yahoo Sports, Kevin Youkilis and Julie Brady met at a Patriots postgame party in 2011 and have been dating for the past year. The ceremony reportedly will be held in California, where Julie and Tom are from, during the off-season.
Kevin Youkilis had been engaged to, and in 2008 had a marriage ceremony with, Enza Sambataro, who had previously dated actor Ben Affleck. This will be Julie’s first marriage, although she’s a mom to a five-year-old daughter, Jordan.
The 2011 baseball season wasn’t the greatest for either the Red Sox or Keven Youkilis. Yahoo Sports reports, “Youk hit just .258 in 120 games for a disappointing Red Sox team.”
Julies quarterback brother, Tom Brady, was recently under fire for his wife’s, Gisele Bundchen, comments about the Patriots 17-21 loss against the New York Giants for the Super Bowl on Sunday. It was reported that Kevin Youkilis attended the game, held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, watching from the Brady suite.
The Boston Herald reports that an unnamed friend of Kevin Youkilis said of Julie, “She’s a really nice person, but all the Brady’s are nice people.”
