According to multiple reports and social media posts from Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum, the band’s tour bus caught fire on enroute to Arlington for this weekend’s Academy of Country Music Awards when a tire blew and caught fire.
Hillary took to Twitter to share news with fans and ensured everyone on board the bus during the catastrophe were safe and sound.
“Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today. Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly,” Scott posted on Instagram and Twitter.
“EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND. It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all!!!! ~hillary”
No one was hurt but local authorities said the mess would take hours to clean up.
