“Red Tails” aims to prove “Courage has no color”
George Lucas’ latest effort, “Red Tails,” will be released to theaters on January 20. The WWII drama tells the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first group of African-American fighter pilots in the U.S. armed forces. “Red Tails” stars Cuba Gooding Jr., Bryan Cranston and Terrence Howard.
The premiere screening of “Red Tails” took place Tuesday night at New York’s Ziegfeld Theater. In addition to Lucas and the film’s stars, some of the real-life Tuskegee Airmen were also in attendance.
