Dr. Carole Lieberman, author of “Bad Girls: Why Men Love Them & How Good Girls Can Learn Their Secrets,” says Rihanna wants to reunite with Chris Brown
Rihanna is a “pathetic figure,” according to Dr. Carole Lieberman, acting out in order to get back together with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
Rihanna is being “haunted by her childhood demons of a father, who was addicted to drugs and alcohol, and physically abusive towards her mother,” according to Dr. Lieberman, a psychiatrist and author of Bad Girls: Why Men Love Them & How Good Girls Can Learn Their Secrets, whom spoke exclusively with HollywoodLife.com about the R&B superstar.
Rihanna, 24, has been seen drinking into the early morning hours, dancing with strippers and walking through New York City in little more than a lacey, semi-transparent bandeau bra with her nipples visible underneath. According to Dr. Lieberman, this behavior is indicative of a woman who “wants attention – particularly the attention of Chris Brown.”
Despite being physically abused by Brown during their relationship, Rihanna’s father has encouraged her to get back together with him, something Dr. Lieberman is not surprised by.
“It’s no wonder that her dad has told her to reunite with Chris, who he calls a ‘nice guy.’ Ronald Fenty unconsciously wants her to forgive and forget Chris’ abusive behavior, as a way of pretending that his own abuse of her mom wasn’t all that bad. It’s sad that this is playing right into what Rihanna has wanted to do anyway – be back in Chris’ arms – the same arms that almost killed her not that long ago.”
According to Dr. Lieberman, Brown’s new relationship with Karrueche Tran is only making Rihanna more desperate.
“Having a girlfriend makes him that much more of a challenge to Rihanna, and her obsession with him gets more out of control each day,” asserted Dr. Lieberman, who added, “Bad girl Rihanna and bad boy Chris are like moths to a flame . . . and they will both get burned.”
