Johnny Lewis, star of ‘Sons of Anarchy’, has been found dead in LA
Johnny Lewis, best known for his role on the TV series Sons of Anarchy, has been found dead outside a Los Angeles home. Also found alongside the actor was his elderly landlady, Catherine Davis, who he is suspected of killing.
LAPD Commander, Andrew Smith, spoke to KABC about the cause of Lewis’s death. He said “He appeared to have died from some type of fall, either from the stairway, or from the balcony, or from one of the roofs.” It is unclear as to whether or not the actor fell or jumped to his death. As far as the cause of death of the elderly woman, an altercation is suspected.
Smith concluded “The best we’re piecing together now is that it appears that some type of altercation occurred inside of the house resulting in the death of the woman. Then this individual ran outside, had an altercation with a couple of neighbors, ran back into the house and by the time we got here, had fallen or had somehow died on the driveway.”
Officials responded to a report of a screaming woman who had come upon the body of Johnny Lewis. Detectives believe Lewis may have committed the murder of his landlady.
Also injured from Lewis were a neighbor and a handyman. They were both badly beaten in the confrontation they had with the suspect.
Lewis is best known for his role as Kip ‘Half Sack’ Epps on Sons of Anarchy as well as roles on Boston Public, American Dreams and The O.C. More recently he appeared in The Runaways alongside Kristin Stewart and Dakota Fanning in 2010.
