Honey Boo Boo has been featured in an episode of South Park
South Park decided to take TLC’s reality hit Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and work it into their 16th season. South Park seems to have taken an already absurd creation and turned it into something even more interesting. In an episode that premiered last night, Honey Boo Boo and her Mama June Shannon pick out a pig with the most pizzazz for a contest.
In the episode, the cartoon version of Honey Boo Boo picked out a pig saying “I want that one. No, wait, that pig over there gave me the evil eye, I want that one, I want that one.” The voice of Honey Boo Boo is rumored to be South Park co-creator Matt Stone. Mama June chimes in saying “We wanna pick a pig that has pizzazz and knows how to work it, girl.”
The family actually did attempt to raise a pig in real life. However, it turned out that Glitzy the pig wasn’t really suited for the family’s lifestyle.
Honey Boo Boo and her family aren’t getting parodied by the show for nothing. They are getting a huge salary bump from between $5,000 and $7,000 each per episode to between $15,000 and $20,000 each per episode for the show’s upcoming season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
South Park airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central.
