PlayStation 3 exclusive, “Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception”, set to hit store shelves on 11.01.11
“Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune” and “Uncharted 2: Among Thieves” for the PlayStation 3 are already considered by many to be modern classics, but the franchise’s developer, Naughty Dog, is looking to cement its legacy with a trilogy when “Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception” launches next year on November 1, 2011.
Officially previewed during the Spike TV Video Game Awards, “Uncharted 3” will continue the adventures of treasure hunter Nathan Drake as he travels around the world in pursuit of the legendary lost city, the Iram of the Pillars.
While the first Uncharted game focused on jungles and water and “Uncharted 2” entertained more frigid and urban environments, “Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception” looks to revolve primarily around the desert and fire.
“Uncharted 3” will support stereoscopic 3D, and the multiplayer and co-op features (which were introduced in “Uncharted 2”) are set to be expanded.
In addition to releasing a trailer for their upcoming video game, Naughty Dog also appeared on the “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” show to show off some of the gameplay gamers can expect to enjoy in 2011.
