The Victoria’s Secret fashion show includes the Biebs, Rihanna and a $2.5 million bra
The highly anticipated Victoria’s Secret fashion show was filmed Wednesday afternoon in New York City and is gearing up to be an unforgettable show, as always. Performers on the runway this year include Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, a $2.5 million bra, and of course, supermodels with zero percent body fat.
In preparation for the big event, various security measures were taken—a necessity considering all the supermodels, superstars and insanely expensive bras in attendance. Two bomb-sniffing dogs greeted the various media outlets that were to go backstage for the big event. There were also dozens of security guards surrounding New York’s Sixty-Ninth Regiment Armory, the building hosting the show.
Backstage, there was plenty of food for the Victoria’s Secret angels to graze on. There was a buffet of bagels, croissants, pastries, fruit and of course Nutella.
Model Miranda Kerr, however, opted for a more green concoction—celery, cucumber, lemon, blue-green algae and kale. Although, she did admit to having eggs that morning to get herself some protein and energy.
Kerr even commented on Justin Bieber participating in the fashion show this year saying, “The thing is, I saw him yesterday perform, but I haven’t met him in person yet, so let’s wait and see until I meet him, and then I’ll make my decision.” Shortly after, she went on to say, “He’s cute.”
Talk of Hurricane Sandy was also present at the show. 23-year-old Victoria’s Secret model, Behati Prinsoloo said, “Since Sandy came through New York, it’s been a bit crazy. My house flooded. My heart really goes out to the other families affected by Sandy. You realize that people lost so much more than you did.”
Show organizers showed their support by donating eight 500-kilowtat generators to the National Guard after the regiment lost power and Victoria’s Secret’s parent company, Limited Brands, pledged $1 million to relief efforts.
The Victoria’s Secret fashion show will air December 4th on CBS.
