Detroit natives and metalcore band, We Came as Romans and post-hardcore band, Chiodos are coming together for a co-headlining tour that is set to kick off on Dec. 11 at The Crofoot in Pontiac, Mich.
The tour will trail the east coast and visit seven cities and wrap up in Cleveland, Ohio on Dec. 18.
The two bands will be joined by supporting acts Sleepwave, Spencer Chamberlain of Underoath’s new band, and Slavs featuring Jonny Craig.
We Came as Romans recently wrapped up the Present, Future, Past tour with For Today, The Color Morale, Crossfaith, Palisades.
Chiodos has spent the majority of the year touring in support of their fourth studio album, and the first effort since reuniting with original frontman, Craig Owens. Devil was released in spring of 2014 and the band has been out on the road ever since supporting the album and going out with a bang as they return to the road once more to close out the year with fellow band friends.
Sleepwave frontman Spencer Chamberlain is rather excited about the upcoming tour and recently commented on the run saying, “We are really excited to announce that we will be braving this year’s winter storms with our friends We Came As Romans and Chiodos.”
“Music offers an escape but it’s noise when the overall content is cheap, or only as deep as a puddle. Sounds offers something but a sound and a message is stronger,” he added.
